After seven successful Rovaco Dance Party events, Rovaco Dance Company presents its first Rovaco Dance Festival, featuring two unique and diverse programs of contemporary dance-theater by Rovaco, as well as live music, theater, and dance performances by guest-commissioned artists. Each night begins with an immersive pre-show social, inspired by South-Asian hospitality, where you can enjoy complimentary homemade Indian snacks and drinks prepared by our resident chef.

Ishita Mili is a NJ/NY-based director, choreographer, educator, and iconoclast. Her classes provide an elemental approach to global movement and therapeutic storytelling. Class deconstructs foundations from hip hop, bharatanatyam, house, to chhau and reintegrates them into creative choreography that focuses on technique and expression.

IMGE hosts Pooja Radhakrishnan all the way from Mumbai in NYC for the very first time in 2 different choreography workshops. Each workshop will go over technique and a combination pulling from contemporary, Indian classical, and hip hop.

~ABOUT POOJA~
Pooja Radhakrishnan is a Mumbai-based choreographer & dance practitioner working across stage, screen, and interdisciplinary performance.
She is the founder of ThaKiTa.Co, a genre-blurring dance company and Co-Founder of The Movement Hub. She holds a bachelor's degree in Dance & Arts Management from De Montfort University.
Pooja developed a cross-cultural movement vocabulary blending Bharatanatyam, contemporary, and street styles - investigating the intersection of structure, improvisation, rhythm, and physical storytelling.
She has worked with Shalmali Kholgade, Conan O'Brien, Aamir Khan, Vicky Kaushal, Aditi Rao, Aakash Odedra, Shiamak Davar, Kayan, Monica Dogra, Shor Police, and others. She has also created campaigns for Shark Tank, Amazon, Vaseline, Appy Fizz, Maaza, Class (Netflix) and The Royals (Netflix).

Kinetic: A Dance Film Festival Vol. 3
Kinetic is a community-oriented platform diving into how movement storytelling is captured through the lens. We return for Volume 3 with 10 brand-new dance films made in 2025 that cover a wide range of film techniques, movement styles, and storytelling themes.
Co-hosted by Ishita Mili, MJ Abiva, Justin Monte. Produced by IMGE Dance.
Each film will be followed by a Q&A with the creative team. Post-viewing, the space will be opened into a freestyle and mingle session featuring an interactive AI video display. Popcorn, snacks, and beverages available.
