After a three-year hiatus, Wise Fruit NYC returns for its 12th edition with Ocean Ma, an interdisciplinary evening of dance, live music, collaboration, and community.

“Hosted by Courtney J. Cook and curated by Brinda Guha, Ocean Ma explores water as mother: forgiving and unforgiving, cleansing and dangerous, nourishing and accountable.”

Centered on the feminine divine: not as gender, but as a force, Ocean Ma invites audiences to reflect on memory, stewardship, ancestry, transformation, and our responsibility to one another and to the natural world.
